Return Policy

・Please check the product for any defects and to confirm that it matches the contents of your order.
Returns are accepted within one week of receipt of the product.

We take all possible measures to ensure product quality and delivery. However, in the unlikely event that you find a defect in the product you received, or if you receive a product that is different from the one you ordered, please contact us at saihyou@yamahide.info as soon as possible.

We will confirm the situation and return or exchange the product as soon as possible.

・If we are notified of a defect more than one week after the product arrives at our store.
・When the product has been used.
・When the product is stained or damaged.
・We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons attributable to the customer. When ordering products, please carefully check the color, size, price, and details of the product before ordering.

Although we take the utmost care in the production of our products, because they are consistently handmade, it is difficult to produce exactly the same product as a machine-made product, and slight differences and imperfections may remain.
The following is an example, but please understand that we do not accept returns due to such conditions.

・The wood used for the handle is natural wood and may be slightly dented or look like cracks due to the grain of the wood.
・A kind of forge welding defect called “aike” may slightly appear on the blade surface, but it is not considered as a defective product if it is far from the blade tip and does not affect the blade.
・In the process of sharpening some products, some of the engravings may be lost in the process of removing distortions.
